Eared Grebe
Just back a trip to the interior of BC where I was fortunate to see and photograph over 30 life species (still counting as I review my photos) 28 birds and the remainder mammals, it just proves I need to get off the Rock more often :) This has got to be one of the coolest looking birds on the planet.
This was a swamp shoot with bug netting, chest waders, we were covered in mud and tiny shrimp like life that attached themselves to everything, most fun I have had in a long time :)
