Japanese White-Eye
Introducted to Hawaii in 1929 for SE Asia it now flourishes on all the Hawaiian Islands. Male and female are similar in appearance the female is slightly duller.
Introducted to Oahu in 1929 and quickly expanded to every island in Hawaii. It is now abundant in wet forests, deciduous forests and suburban areas. I found them on the grounds and in the empty lot beside our condo.
