Yellow-fronted Canary
This species is endemic to Africa in regions south of the Sahara. It was introducted to Oahu and The Big Island at the end of the 1960s.
A native of the south Sahara Desert, the Yellow-fronted Canaray was introduced to Oahu and The Big Island at the end of the 1960's. It is now a naturalized resident of these two islands.
Found in a local park near ponds. Water seems to be a big attraction for song birds in Hawaii. Besides foraging for food they bath and sleep.
