Thought it was time to revisit Georgina and the gang, I think this could be my favourite of her. If she is going to have her first cub/s this year she will have given birth by now...fingers crossed.
She does look a bit regal here towering above us from her favourite rock. If you zoom in it takes a good 20 sec to focus, large file.
We saw Georgina more than the other bears making it easier to get her at almost every angle. She has taken over SWR's rule of the fishing hole putting the run on other female and younger bears in the area. I did see SWR once this year she still had her cubs with her from last year however it appeared rearing young was a real strain on her, she was thin and drawn in the early summer when bears can be underweight, perhaps SWR was focusing more on the survival of her cubs.
