Miles of Mussels
A young female Brown Bear surveys the endless bed of mussels on the central west coast.
A dangerous game of fetch.
Kidding of course :) This is Amber she is one of the orginial cubs in the Disney film Bears. Alive an well living in the wild. Her brother Scout is in the vacinity they have been seen together on occasion.
The land of plenty.
A young female Coastal Brown Bear is surrounded by food, walls of muscles line the rocks, crab and rock eel are at her feet under rocks.
Coastal Brown Bear Cubs
The cubs are 1 1/2 years old, seen with their Mother who was a little to the left of the frame. A very low tide offered unlimited meal opportunities for the bears this day, rock turning exposed eels and crabs.
