River Otter with a spawned Salmon.
While looking for raptors I caugh movement in a flooded creek an Otter with a dead salmon. This confirms to me that the River Otters will eat a dead fish though I would imagine it was still fresh in the cold water. The Otter ate a least a 2-3 pounds of meat if not more before it moved on. I don't think the Otter noticed me until it was swimming away it could hear my shutter but with a huge fish to consume it wasn't spending a lot of time doing anything other than eating.
