Red Fox Kits
As colourful as they are these are red foxes with colour varients all from the same litter. They have an old carcass one of them dragged out of the den. The best way to get their share is to use the rear end to block or push with.

The Pacific Wren is one feisty little bird earlier this month it was claiming territory in our campsite, after a little protest dance it agreed to let us stay one more night. :))

The male keep a lookout for any threat to their young and the female ensures the chicks are protected from the wind and cold.

She had been in a recent fight her left forearm and left eye were cut but no permanet injuries she was healed and in fine form within a week or two.
