Brown Eyed Girl brings her offspring to our backyard.
Beg as we call her for short has been hanging around our backyard for a few weeks, today she brought her little guy with her. We had guessed she had a fawn for the past week or so.

He's healthly and I'm happy to see him again.
It has been awhile since we have seen each other when he walked towards me then right up to me I knew it was my bird seed eating friend. He used to show with two other deer his age another buck and a female I call Beg (Brown-eyed Girl) Beg had a fawn this spring so I'm guessing the threesome temporarily split up.

Mom and fawn were startled when we exited the bush on our way to the river. They ran down the river; the fawn looked a bit upset; here, Mom took the time to nurse it—an adorable encounter.
