Curious Kit

We found the kits were very interested in boaters whereas the Moms not so much. The kits would struggle to see us sometimes squealing at Mom.

I think baby can sleep through anything although we were quiet the motor from the boat made noise.

When resting the Sea Otters will wrap themselves in anchoured or rooted kelp to prevent them floating away.

Fuzzball

A young baby resting on Mom's tummy, it didn't wake up for more than a minute or two.

Mother Otter decides to move junior to a safer place and junior wants to see what we look like, too cute.

Rubbing natural body oils in to the fur, it looked a lot like a massage.

The epitome of innocence.

Looks like a wet stuffy toy doesn't it? This was definitely a high point of the day from our otter trip. You may have seen a photo similar on the internet my friend Anthony Bucci asked me to join him on this trip. He posted a tighter version recently.

Spa Day
