Underexposed to catch all the beautiful colours.i

Sunrise

Out bright and early this morning catching the sunrise over Mill Bay. I used my drone with a Neewer ND16 CP to cut the brightness and help saturate the colours.

Somenos Lake

A view of a hidden lake, first time I have seen it. The bush hides the view so I put my drone in the air. It is much larger than I expected and rather pretty.

The Log Jam

When I think of a log jam I think of many logs piled up over time, this is one big log that looks like it has been there a long time. I doubt if we have any trees that big that haven't been cut down.

We didn't get the sunrise we were hoping for but it was a great morning out.

A Seascape

Did you ever think you would see a landscape photo from me? With the encouagement of a friend we ventured out on 3 weekends and shot rivers, waterfalls, forest and ocean scenes, so far this is my favourite, the southwest edge of Vancouver Island, Sombrio Beach. Any critiques are welcome.

Raging Creek

I am learning how to take photos without fur or feathers is a big challenge for me. Getting the colours and light correct isn't easy plus the whole composition is way out of my comfort zone. I'm taking a course this afternoon I'll see if I can improve upon this image. I used to say landscape photographer have it easy they have a static subject that doesn't move like birds or animals...still not easy :)
