An interesting bird it wasn't at all spooky however it rarely looked at us totaly focused on digging for big bugs. It chatted with other Thrashers in the area I believe there were 3 or 4 more in close proximity however I could not see them.

Gray Thrasher

When looking for a rare bird don't forget to check at your feet, yup Denise and I were chatting by the river when this Thrasher came waddling through the sand over to the river right at my feet to rise off a large bug. We didn't move till it walked away then I got down in the dirt to try and catch a shot of it. The easiest life bird I have ever gotten.

Gray Thrasher

Although it was there wandering around it wasn't a cooperative bird mostly in dark depressions this was taken at ISO 4000.

Green Heron

We rarely saw this Heron the best chances were early morning or evening. This was taken at ISO 4000 not perfect but better than no Green Heron :)
