Four hours driving to the Salish Sea on a windy day. I always thought landscape photography would be easier than wildlife, I was wrong lol, there is nothing easy about it I find it very challenging. This photo is closer to what I saw, the next is with a bit of drama added during processing.

Born in the spring of 2020 he visits our yard with his mother BEGs (Brown Eyed Girl) and her fawns from the previous year. Occasionally her brother who is a gorgeous buck drops in to destroy our bird feeders he has learn if you tip them the seed falls out or worse if you wrestle the feeders to the ground you can completely empty them. Surprisingly it is difficult to photograph or backyard deer as they walk up to me like pets, I going to have to try my wide angle.

Did you ever think you would see a landscape photo from me? With the encouagement of a friend we ventured out on 3 weekends and shot rivers, waterfalls, forest and ocean scenes, so far this is my favourite, the southwest edge of Vancouver Island, Sombrio Beach. Any critiques are welcome.
