Very spooky for a big bear, the scar between his eyes tell me he has fought and survived, safer in the long run to be shy.
We drove 4 hours to find new bears and not one of them wanted to have their photos taken. This bear popped up then ran like hell. Oh well a good example of the grass isn't always greener... who knew?
That is about how long it will take this bear to eat the sedge grass. All the sedge grass had been mowed by bears except this patch, we kept our distance.
