Normally the Sea Lion tries to break the salmon up into large chunks however after the rains we had the river current was very strong washing away the salmon downstream as the Sea Lion broke it up.... so the Sea Lion thought it best to eat it whole, makes sense but it wasn't going well too much to swallow at once.
