I walked for miles climbed way too many hills on the way back to the car I found the cutest little Marten, Got about a 2 seconds with it then it vanished into the forest.

The markings are similar to a juvenile Purple Finch however its colouring is quite a bit darker, my friend said it is a juv Purple Finch. It parked itself in a corner of the feeder and ate all morning...cute and smart little guy

This poor adult Chickadee was doing what it could to keep junior from having a melt down, I can't say I have ever seen such a demanding chick.
